Custom Luxury Rigid Boxes

Key Benefits

Every product deserves its own box — which is why we engineer each custom rigid box around your product, not a stock template. Our Miami team builds cigar-style magnet boxes, telescopic boxes, slipcases, drawer boxes, book-style boxes, and full specialty formats in-house, so the structure always serves the brand and the story you’re telling. Premium materials, considered detail, and the right finish turn a first impression into a reason to post — the weight and build signal quality before a word of copy is read.

Why Fastkit

Key benefits

01

Why Custom Rigid Boxes Command a Premium

Custom rigid boxes aren’t just packaging — they’re a statement. Moreover, the weight and structure of a well-made luxury rigid box signal quality before the customer even opens it. As a result, brands that choose rigid over folding carton often see stronger perceived value and better customer retention.

02

Eight Styles, Fully Built to Your Spec

From cigar-style magnetic closures to telescopic drawer boxes and cloth-wrapped slipcases, we make every format in-house at our Miami facility. In practice, you choose the style that suits your product — and then we build it to hold its shape, protect what’s inside, and elevate your brand.

03

FSC-Certified Materials, Built to Last

Every custom rigid box we make uses FSC® and PEFC® certified recycled chipboard wrapped in premium specialty papers and textiles. As a result, you get packaging that is sustainably sourced — and built to survive shipping, handling, and gifting without losing its form.

04

Produced in Miami, Ready in 4–6 Weeks

Our entire production process happens under one roof at our 50,000 sq. ft. shop in Doral, Florida. In short, there are no overseas delays and no third-party hand-offs. Consequently, from design approval to delivery, most custom rigid box orders ship in 4–6 weeks.

In addition, every structure is available with hot foil stamping, soft-touch lamination, spot UV, embossing, debossing, and FSC®-certified materials. Finally, minimum order starts at 250 units, and standard lead time is 4–6 weeks from design approval.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order quantity for custom rigid boxes?
Our minimum order for custom rigid boxes is 250 units. For very small runs — prototypes, launch samples, or influencer sends — we have semi-custom solutions that can work at lower quantities. Contact our sales team for options.
How long does production take for custom rigid box orders?
Standard production for custom rigid boxes runs 4–6 weeks from design approval. Timeline depends on the structural complexity, material availability, and finishing requirements. Rush options are available — reach out to discuss.
What rigid box styles and formats do you manufacture?
We produce eight rigid box formats in-house: magnetic closure, cigar-style with flap, telescopic, drawer with ribbon, clamshell, slipcase, book-style, and hinged lid. Each is available in custom dimensions, materials, and finishes tailored to your product.
Are your custom rigid box materials FSC-certified and sustainable?
Yes. All Fastkit rigid box products use FSC® and PEFC® certified recycled chipboard made from 90–100% post-consumer waste materials. We offer a full range of substrate thicknesses and eco-conscious wrap options without compromising the luxury aesthetic.
Do you provide a prototype before full production begins?
Yes. Once your design is approved, we build a physical prototype for your review. Full production only begins after you sign off on the sample. Our equipment produces prototypes that closely mirror final production quality — no surprises.
Can Fastkit handle fulfillment and shipping for custom rigid box orders?
Yes. Our fulfillment team handles procurement, assembly, kitting, and delivery coordination — so your custom rigid boxes arrive at your warehouse, fulfillment center, or directly to your recipients. We manage the full process from production to shipping.
What are the main benefits of custom rigid boxes?

For beauty, spirits, gifting, and PR programs, custom rigid boxes combine protection, presentation, and brand impact in one format. They are often chosen when the package needs to feel substantial in hand and support a premium price position.

  • Thick chipboard construction for a sturdy, durable feel
  • Custom structures built around the product instead of stock sizes
  • Luxury finishes such as foil stamping, embossing, debossing, spot UV, and soft-touch lamination
  • Suitable for launch kits, influencer boxes, gift sets, cosmetics, wine and spirits, and collectible packaging
  • Available with FSC®-certified and PEFC®-certified material options
How does Fastkit manufacture custom rigid boxes?

Fastkit produces custom rigid boxes in Doral, Florida, at its Miami-area facility. Structural design, prototyping, production, finishing, and fulfillment support are handled under one roof, which helps reduce hand-offs and keeps communication clear during development.

For certification and material terminology, see the Forest Stewardship Council, PEFC, and the TAPPI industry association.

What should procurement teams compare when sourcing custom rigid boxes?

When comparing suppliers, the box style is only one part of the decision. Procurement teams usually need clarity on materials, finishing, lead time, minimum order quantity, sampling, and fulfillment support before approving a vendor.

  1. Confirm the board thickness and wrap material for the desired level of rigidity.
  2. Review which finishes are available in-house, including foil, embossing, debossing, lamination, and spot UV.
  3. Check minimum order quantity; Fastkit starts at 250 units for custom rigid boxes.
  4. Ask about prototypes before production approval.
  5. Verify where production takes place and whether fulfillment or kitting is available.
What rigid box styles does Fastkit offer?

Fastkit manufactures multiple custom rigid box structures in-house so brands can match the format to the product and the unboxing experience.

  • Magnetic closure boxes
  • Cigar-style boxes with flap
  • Telescopic boxes
  • Drawer boxes with ribbon pull
  • Clamshell boxes
  • Slipcases
  • Book-style boxes
  • Hinged lid boxes
What finishes are available for custom rigid boxes?

Available finishing options include hot foil stamping, lamination, spot UV, embossing, debossing, and soft-touch treatments depending on the selected structure and material.

What is a custom rigid box?

A custom rigid box is a premium box made from thick chipboard that is wrapped rather than folded flat like a standard carton. It is typically used when a brand wants more protection, a higher-end feel, and a stronger unboxing experience.

Who uses custom rigid boxes?

Rigid boxes are commonly used by cosmetics and beauty brands, wine and spirits brands, board game companies, and teams creating influencer kits, product launch mailers, or PR boxes.
